Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

IPP Training is run by Arpan Ghosh, sole proprietor, Kolkata, West Bengal, India. Questions or deletion requests: [email protected].

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, and a password hash. If you sign in with Google we receive your name, email and profile picture from Google.
  • Training data: the programmes a coach writes, the sets an athlete logs, daily check-ins, bodyweight and estimated maxes.
  • Optional health-adjacent entries: sleep hours, soreness and stress ratings, and menstrual cycle tracking. Cycle tracking is off by default and only the athlete can turn it on or share it.
  • Basic technical logs: IP address and browser type, kept for security and error diagnosis.

What we do not collect

We never see or store card numbers, UPI IDs or bank details. Payments are handled entirely by Razorpay, who process them under their own privacy policy.

Athletes are never asked to pay. There is no payment screen anywhere in the athlete app, so no athlete financial data exists to protect. Only coaches hold a subscription.

Who can see your data

  • An athlete's coach sees that athlete's training and check-ins. That is the point of the product.
  • Coaches cannot see athletes outside their own workspace. This is enforced in the database, not only in the application.
  • Cycle tracking is visible to a coach only if the athlete explicitly shares it, and the athlete can withdraw that at any time.
  • We do not sell data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Where it is processed

Data is hosted on Railway in Singapore, with Cloudflare in front for security and delivery. Email is sent through Resend. Each of these processes data only to run the service.

How long we keep it

While your subscription is active, and for 90 days after it ends. Subscribe again within those 90 days and nothing is lost. After that, your workspace and everything in it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Billing records are kept for eight years because Indian tax law requires it. Those name amounts and dates, not training data.

Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 30 days.

An athlete’s training data lives inside their coach’s workspace. If that coach’s subscription ends and is not renewed within 30 days, the workspace is deleted and the sessions, check-ins and measurements recorded in it go with it. We would rather say this plainly than imply a separation that does not exist.

Ask us before that deadline and we will send an athlete a copy of their own data. An athlete can ask directly, without going through their coach.

Children

Accounts are for people aged 18 and over. If you believe someone under 18 has an account, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will email you before it takes effect.
